| RUHSTRAT limb core transformers correspond to the currently valid instruction of DIN VDE and EN. Due to their low power loss RUHSTRAT toroidal core and limb core transformers work economically and have a low energy consumption. During the production process they undergo a resin impregnation under vacuum with subsequent oven drying. This insulation provides a long service life of the transformers and high protection against external mechanical impacts.
- single-phase or three-phase design
- separate winding or autowinding (autotransformer)
- power range from 40 VA up to 2 MVA*
- as medium voltage transformer for voltages of 6 kV and 10 KV
- in combination with a variable transformer connected in series, in order to steplessly regulate voltages in the output
- degrees of protection: IP 00, IP 20/IP 23 with steel-sheet enclosure, IP 54 with air/water heat exchanger or as oil transformer

- e. g. pre-magnetization transformers for the reduction of the inrush current, test fields, machine controls, marine engineering, resistance-heated industrial furnaces, glass melting plants, neutral earthing transformers etc.
