Ruhstrat under the umbrella of Eisenmann
The company Ruhstrat was taken over on October 19, 2011 by the Eisenmann AG (Böblingen).
The Eisenmann AG continues to employ all 140 employees and Andreas Ruhstrat will stay furthermore in the company as Chief Executive Officer. As well the new building in the industrial area AREA 3 in Bovenden is continued without hindrance. The intention of Eisenmann is to become a worldwide technology and market leader for carbon fiber plants. Among other things Ruhstrat develops and delivers industrial furnaces for the carbonisation.
The plant manufacturer from Böblingen, Eisenmann, which has oxidation furnaces and exhaust air purification systems for the carbon fiber production in its portfolio becomes therewith to a Turn-Key-Supplier.The intention of Eisenmann is to become a worldwide technology and market leader for carbon fiber plants.The companies Eisenmann and Ruhstrat have already for a few years a sales cooperation. By means of the future pooling of the core competences for the carbon fiber production under one umbrella far reaching synergy effects are the result both for product developments and for sales and the project management.
,,We want to grow further but that is difficult under one’s own efforts ’’, says Andreas Ruhstrat who leads the industrial company Ruhstrat GmbH in the fourth generation in Lenglern. So he explains the acquisition of his company by the Eisenmann AG in Böblingen. As further reason for the acquisition Ruhstrat mentions the challenge of the advance financing of the plants to build. Such a plant would cost up to 50 Mio. Euro.
Also the segment of the electrical engineering which includes the product focus Power Transformers, Voltage Stabilizers, Variable Transformers, Power Resistors and Emergency Power Supply / Emergency Lighting is supposed to profit of the acquisition. All sections are continued.
The company Ruhstrat will be integrated as subsidiary into the Eisenmann group. Andre Görnhardt, Chief of the Eisenmann business unit Process & High Temperature Technology, becomes the Chief Executive Officer together with Andreas Ruhstrat, the earlier Chief Executive Officer and owner.
