Plant description

The furnace enclosure consists of a stable steel construction and has the form of a reclined cylinder, in which the muffle is stored. The enclosure is in horizontal direction divided designed. The top can be withdrawn. A welded frame ensures a good stability.

The muffle is flanged only on the front wall of the furnace enclosure, so that this can expand free to the back. In the muffle an air-conducting cylinder is inserted. In the inside of this air-conducting cylinder the feeding frame is positioned.

The heating of the muffle is done electrical. The heating elements are, outside of the muffle, on the whole periphery distributed.

The hot gas ventilator is fixed at the backmost flange of the muffle. The useable space atmosphere is heated via the sidewise air ducts between air-conducting cylinder and muffle, and from the fore through the useable space absorbed by the hot gas ventilator.

For generation of a protective gas atmosphere at the useable space the muffle can be evacuated in a cold condition and afterwards flooded with non-combustible protective gas.

To achieve a fast cooling of the feeding goods, is sidewise at the furnace a cooling fan flanged, which injects cold air from the bottom side into the heating space and the safed heat of the muffle, discharge the charge and the isolation via air vents in the floor. The air vent on the up side of the furnace contains a motor adjustable throttle valve, which is opened in the cooling phase.

The gas discharge socket can additionally be electrically heated with a separate control circuit. The resined exhausts which are coming out of the muffle are delivered to a flaring device or a separate exhaust disposal.

The water cooling is devided in several cooling water cycles. Each cooling cycle is controlled regarding flow rate, pressure and temperature.

For evacuation of the furnace is a rotary vane vacuum pump intended. The internal pressure of the muffle is controlled.

The gas distribution station, including all necessary fittings, is fixed on the side wall of the furnace. It consists of two circles, a working circuit and a safety circuit for the emergency gasing.

The feeding of the furnace is done via a feeding frame for the receiving of the charge with overall approx. 1,000 kg. For the feeding of the furnace a hand lift comes to use, which in rails, which are mounted in front of the furnace, is moved.
